South Dakota Rancher Relief Fund Begins Taking Applications

A relief fund established to help West River ranchers who lost livestock in the early October blizzard began taking applications for aid today.

The donation-based fund, which has grown to $940,000, was established by state cattle and sheep organizations and a Black Hills charitable foundation. It will focus its initial assistance on ranchers most in need of help.
