Midwest Honor Flight - Providing Veterans with Honor and Closure During a Trip To Our Nation's Capital

Swier Law Firm is proud to partner with Midwest Honor Flight to help honor and provide closure to Veterans with an all-expense paid trip to Washington DC. The Honor Flight program visits those memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of the Veterans.

Midwest Honor Flight was created simply to say, "Thank You"

Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your willingness to pay the ultimate price so we can continue to enjoy our freedom. Top priority is given to the senior Veterans – World War II survivors, along with other Veterans who may be terminally ill.

Currently, the Midwest Honor Flight has over 600 applicants on the wait-list and each honor flight brings 80 Veterans (and a "guardian" to accompany and assist the Veteran as needed). The Veterans are not charged for the flight or experience; instead the Midwest Honor Flight pays 100% of each Veteran's fees. The cost per Veteran is approximately $800.

The Midwest Honor Flight is a non profit organization and is proud to report 98.9% of all donations go directly to the program costs. The only costs that are not allocated to the program are costs excluded by law. Approximately six (6) months of preparation and planning goes into each Honor Flight - and the program is 100% volunteer based. That means, each volunteer works tirelessly to coordinate and ensure each flight and event is confirmed and flawlessly executed - without pay.

We are working to support the Midwest Honor Flight in any way we are able. You can donate directly to the Midwest Honor Flight here or by attending any one of their upcoming fundraisers in the Sioux Falls community.

Please consider helping this worthy cause to thank and honor our Veterans!
