DNA has become as common in investigations as fingerprints and now the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld the constitutionality of collecting DNA.
In a 5-4 decision, the justices ruled on Monday that collecting samples as part of the booking process for serious crimes does not violate the right to unreasonable search and seizure.
