Overview of the role

The Client Intake and Team Support Specialist is responsible for gathering and documenting detailed, case-specific information about potential cases from our legal clients. This includes the initial screening, explaining the services of the firm, addressing initial inquiries and needs of the client, collection of all relevant data, scheduling the Intake consultation, and preparing the fee agreements and other initial documentation.

Other key duties include acting as an initial point of contact for clients, office coverage, as well as other administrative duties. In summary, the Client Intake and Team Support Specialist assists the firm and client by collecting high level and detailed information that is provided to legal counsel for further review.

How you would contribute to our team?

  • Answer initial telephone calls from prospective clients
  • Obtain accurate demographic information from the client
  • Update all prospects’ information into the firm’s systems – properly record all data pertaining to each client
  • Explain to prospect about the firm’s extensive experience and why the prospect should retain Swier Law Firm
  • Schedule a suitable time for an Intake consultation meeting, or preliminary screening call with a lawyer as needed and requested
  • Ensure all required information is obtained from the potential client for a lawyer to adequately assess the case
  • Provide lawyer with all relevant information for the meeting
  • Assist with office coverage
  • Be available to assist the team with ongoing client communications to ensure smooth transition to next phase of firm process
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior experience in client service
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Fluent in verbal/written English language
