Sara is a valued member of our executive team and continually strives to develop higher levels of customer service and systems at the firm. She oversees the administrative activities of the law firm, including all aspects of daily operations, marketing, human resources, technology, facilities, and special initiatives. Sara works closely with our attorneys on strategic management and planning, but says “developing and executing community involvement campaigns” is very rewarding and at the top of her list of tasks she loves.

If you are on our website or one of our many social media sites, you are looking at Sara's work. She is responsible for ensuring anyone needing legal information can easily access it. Sara also manages and produces the various online and electronic newsletters we send out throughout each month. As the firm continues to grow, Sara's work at the firm continues to grow; she is instrumental in developing ideas and pathways to reach new clients with helpful legal information. Being able to help clients and potential clients understand their legal issues with information is important to Sara as she is a life-long learner and advocates for everyone to empower themselves with knowledge about their situation.

Sara earned her undergraduate degree in business administration, magna cum laude, then an MBA in general management and marketing from the School of Management at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is very grateful for the education she received while attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks as she continues to use many of the ideas and lessons she learned; in fact, she says it is her way of bringing Alaska to South Dakota.

Sara and her family moved to the Sioux Falls area from Fairbanks, Alaska, to be closer to family. Sara has three children, two of whom are Autistic, and feels lucky to learn from each of her kids. She enjoys spending time with family, loves to read, and watching hockey and baseball.
