A 17-year-old Delmont teenager was cited for careless driving following an accident on U.S. Highway 18 about two miles east of the Delmont turnoff.
According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, the accident was caused when the juvenile reportedly attempted to make a U-turn in front of another van.
