A proposal to add new city workers in Sioux Falls to the state retirement system is sailing through the Legislature.
House Bill 1024, which adds Sioux Falls municipal employees hired after June 30 to the South Dakota State Retirement System, is scheduled to be heard Monday by the Senate after passing unanimously through the Committee on Retirement Laws. The House passed the bill unanimously.
