New Twist in $3 Billion Google Book-Scanning Lawsuit

A $3 billion class action lawsuit over Google’s book scanning project made progress this week, with a group of federal judges indicating they think the case should be broken up into individual lawsuits.

That’s good news for Google, as it has the time and resources to fight individual lawsuits over book scanning.
