Jake has been honored as the first attorney accepted into the South Dakota Rural Attorney Recruitment Program.
The Program is a collaborative effort involving multiple organizations. Those invited include the Associations of the South Dakota Indian Country Bar, County Commissioners, School Districts, SD Retailers, and the States Attorneys as well as the UJS, Law School, local charitable organizations, and others
Jake leads the law firm’s Agricultural Law Practice Group and focuses on agricultural law, including crop insurance disputes, employment law disputes, agricultural litigation, entity selection and general corporate matters, environmental concerns and disputes, governmental regulation, purchase and sale of agricultural property, and taxation issues.
