South Dakota's Minimum Wage Will Increase on January 1, 2020

The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation announced the minimum wage for 2020. State law requires the minimum wage to increase annually in proportion to the cost of living, as measured by the national Consumer Price Index.

Beginning January 1, 2020, the state's minimum wage will increase from $9.10/hour to $9.30/hour
