Mitchell Bans Texting While Driving In City Limits

The Mitchell City Council has voted to ban texting while driving in the city.

The Monday night vote was 4-3 in favor of the ban. Mayor Ken Tracy says the goal isn't to issue tickets, but to raise awareness of the dangers of texting while driving.
