Judges feel the pressure of timely justice, especially in southeast South Dakota.
Judges who serve that pocket of the state in the Second Circuit Court — made up of Minnehaha and Lincoln counties — are handling a record number of cases, and they're asking the legislature for another judge to help lighten the load and speed up the docket.
