Jake Fischer Participates in State Bar Association's Panel Discussion on Rural Practice

On June 20, 2014, Jake Fischer of Swier Law Firm participated in the South Dakota Bar Association's panel discussion on Project Rural Practice.

Fischer was recently the first attorney honored by the Rural Attorney Recruitment Program which promotes the practice of law in rural communities to young attorneys and law students.

The South Dakota Legislature approved the Rural Attorney Recruitment Program in 2013 to address the current and projected shortage of lawyers practicing in small communities and rural areas of South Dakota.
