Deal With Neighboring School District Could Add 2,000 Students To Sioux Falls

Two local school districts are about to make a minor boundary shift that could bring anywhere from 1,500 to 2,000 additional students into Sioux Falls. 

The move would allow the Sioux Falls School District to access about 578 acres of land through a tax-sharing agreement with the Lennox School District at a time when Sioux Falls officials are on the verge of opening three new schools to handle overcrowded campuses between now and 2024.
